Crisis Support Information

Our Psychologists are not able to provide urgent or crisis support. If you require urgent mental health support, please refer to the services/support listed below:

  • You can get advice from 111 Option 2 or ask for an urgent GP appointment if you need urgent help for your mental health. 111 will tell you the right place to get help. You may be able to speak to a trained mental health professional over the phone.

  • You can attend A and E for an assessment. Find your local urgent and emergency care services 

  • Hub of Hope: The Hub of Hope is a website/ app which can help you find mental health
    support around you. You can access this at www.hubofhope.co.uk or search ‘Hub of Hope’
    on Google play store/Apple app store

  • Shout: 24-hour free and confidential text service. Use the ‘Shout’ crisis text line – text SHOUT to 85258

  • Samaritans: Available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people
    who are experiencing feelings of distress, despair or suicidal thoughts. www.samaritans.org
    or 116 123 (free to call from within the UK and Ireland), 24 hours a day

 

Safeguarding support:

  • Please call the police on 999 to report a concern around harm to yourself or others.

  • Report a safeguarding concern via the government website How we deal with safeguarding concerns - GOV.UK
