About Rooted Minds Psychology

Rooted Minds Psychology (RMP) is a collective of Clinical Psychologists, Dr Eilidh Neilson, Dr Freya Westlake and Dr Sakshi Shetty Chowdhury, each offering safe, supportive and evidence based mental health support. While each of us operate our independent practices, we have come together as a collective through shared values, peer support and a commitment to simplifying the process of finding the right support.
As people and clinicians, we are aligned in our values of equity, social justice and compassion, and are relationally-focussed, collaborative and responsive in our practice.
We have all completed our doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at University College London. Through our training, we have developed our knowledge and skills in research and clinical practice. We all have professional registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council, and adhere to these standards of professional conduct.

We offer support to people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, as well as those seeking a supportive space to make sense of their identity and experiences. We draw on different therapy modalities, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
-
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-
Compassion Focussed Therapy
-
Narrative Therapy
-
Attachment-informed practice.
We access regular individual supervision from experienced Clinical Psychologists as well as peer supervision as Rooted Minds Psychology, to support our practice.
